Questions Asked First

“Why did we start cursing you, in the all new style, all of a sudden?”
Lafoot to Bewarse to Belange and now LaThCoRe? Stop wondering. LaThCoRe, if you don’t already know is the Lafoot Things Contest Re.. :D

“What’s the contest all about?”
Putting in all your time and energy (and power and torque and force and whatever else there is) to come up with “THE” Lafoot Thing Re!

“How much time do I have at hand?”
Well, we would have liked to allow you to take your whole life, but ‘Dead’lines are sometimes fun re! How about 27th August? [Changes will be entertained only under exceptional conditions re.]

“Does X qualify as a lafoot thing?”
What does your heart say re? Stop looking ‘without’ and see ‘within’. Technically everything under the Sun and anything over it qualifies, as a lafoot thing re.

“Really re? Does anything qualify?”
Well, No. You don’t really get free lunches. ;)
Anything that’s been made public, after the contest announcement qualifies re. period.

“How many Lafoot things can I submit?”
We would’ve loved to say, “No less than a Hazaar” re, but make it “No less than One” re, for this one time.

“Who will judge my work?”
The Lafoots re!

“I don’t have Y at hand and I’m handicapped. What do I do?”
Beg, Borrow or Steal re. We are sympathetic to your handicaps, but there’s little we can do to help you. So, try and overcome the circumstances, with some neat hacks. Don’t hesitate to ask for help re.

“Where will the contest be held?”
Email submissions or Blog posts or any place on the web, publicly accessible should be fine re. We’ll get back with the details soon.

“Can I spread the word?”
Well, LaThCoRe is already a well known swear word re. But you may spread it re, if you really want to. Anybody who has no problems with swear words, this FAQ and the Lafoots can join the party re.

“Who’s the `we` you’ve been referring to all over the place?”
Ob re, We The Lafoots. ;)
