Wassup?

Well, I’m not doing much these days.  I was playing around with lafoobot on #fosskelog. (If you don’t know what they are, google them!) Doing a little (not much) object oriented coding in Python.My uncomics are starting to get less exciting (or is it just my laziness speaking?) So, just making a text post, to keep the junta posted.

I just want to put down a couple of ideas I got.

• A couple of days back, I went to the oriental bank of commerce. The cashier was checking every note (Rs. 1000) manually, to see if any note was fake. How about having an automatic (learning) system, that can detect fake notes. All notes have some known features, also there’s some UV light or something that highlights some of the features. So I’m wondering if it’ll be too difficult to develop some system that can somewhat accurately point out fake (or close to fake) notes.

• How’ll it be if we buy some web space? I think we can buy some, if this blog enters the year 2010 with the enthu that we began with. We can put up this blog, and probably do a lot of other things. But what is webspace? Just a comp (preferably with a static ip) connect 24×7 to the internet will do, I think.

Some dude mailed, saying he’s free from the headaches of PS for a week, and hopes to do some lafooting. Disappointed, there’s no post from that dude. [this post is exactly 252 words long]
