Whispering the Winter
Every step I took,
the leaves under my slippers ruffled,
the wind in chorus.
The trees sing their song,
if only I could understand their jargon.
I’m sure I am lost in the woods,
but that does scare not me, alas!. Alas!
is that snow, indeed it is!
but not I am going to freeze,
not with all this alive tease. The squirrels are happy,
not for me but for the nut.
The rodent’s busy
flirting with the thicket,
tapering the canine hatchet.
The ants toiling
up the elderly bark,
unaware of my lark.Such merriment and glee
in the tingling chill,
now I want to pee.-

And sorry for being late. It feels like snow fall.

And how cold man! Specially in Hyd. My lips cracked up like a quite newly laid, very dry, 5th-day cricket pitch in India.-
